Day 2 : Antananarivo – Ampijoroa
The Day 2 on the Malagasy land will take us to the forest Reserve of Ampijoroa where we will have a late-night visit to observe the occidental Avahi or the endemic red Microcebes. This reserve is a part of the National Park of Ankarafantsika which stretches over 130,026 hectares and which has lots of circuits for the discovery of a set of fauna and flora whose luxuriance is due to the high pluviometry. There are plenty of medicinal plants such as the carphaléakirondron which is particular as it resists bushfires.

Day 3 : Ampijoroa – Majunga
However, before leaving, we will take our time to visit the Reserve of Ampijoroa in daytime so as to see the brown lemurs frisking around their natural environment. On our arrival in Majunga, we will immediately go to the sacred Lake of Mangatsa. This lake in which sacred eels and carps are moving smoothly is a place where ancestral cults are performed. That will be an occasion for us to get familiar with the local traditions. We can also make the most of this opportunity to go hunting wild ducks.

At nightfall, a late-night visit to observe the two nocturnal lemur species.

Anjohibe is made up with a chain of underground galleries punctuated by majestic chambers ornate by stalagmites and stalactites. Among the things not to miss, the skeleton of a miniature hippopotamus. The  visit can be continued towards Anjohikely, less known but  offering as many surprises, and we would even see more.
